With all the cultist lore and darker transformations coming up, I’ve been thinking about pushing the atmosphere a bit further into "horror" territory, something like the Mind Flayer hives in Baldur's Gate 3.
This would mean introducing gloomier enemy designs, eerie environments and darker narrative beats. We won't be going into extreme gore or anything inappropriate, but it would definitely lean into a creepy, bio-horror aesthetic for certain scenes and factions!
I'd love to get your thoughts on how far you'd like to see these dark/horror themes go.
