Development progress of this week
It’s the end of another week. I’ve made some solid progress on the pregnancy feature. The system now reduces semen quality and volume over time, gradually taking away reproductive ability until it turns into a pseudo-egg in the final stage, which allows the protagonist to get pregnant and give birth.
This month’s development review
Two weeks have already passed since the open alpha released. I originally planned to focus the complementary update on expanding the existing conversation and world event interaction features, but I ended up changing direction. Right now I’m prioritizing making the game less complicated and adding quality-of-life improvements like resource gathering and difficulty options.
The game is still very much in its early trial-and-error phase, and I’ve luckily received a good amount of feedback that pointed exactly at these issues. I’m currently working on the major update that will introduce new mechanics and events so players have more ways to progress and get stronger.
The elements I’m interested in
There are several core interests driving the game - feminization, futanari/dickgirls, and transformation. At first I considered keeping everything hyper-realistic and avoiding anything unrealistic like full transformations or even feminization, limiting corruption strictly to drugs. But that approach would’ve heavily restricted the freedom and possibilities of the game, and it would’ve forced me to write extremely realistic depictions of a vicious Southeast Asian drug cartel. In the end I decided to go with a more ambiguously fantastic setting instead.
Estrogen and lifestyle
In a lot of feminization content, estrogen is treated like some kind of magical drug - the only “realistic” way to turn a testosterone-filled body into a woman’s. The truth is a bit different. The changes happen very slowly and vary a lot from person to person. Still, continuous use under a doctor’s prescription does produce real effects and will change the body. How do I know that? Well…
My diet
I’m currently trying to lose weight. I want to show abs, so diet is crucial right now. For brunch I’ve been eating pasta: boiled noodles mixed with mushrooms, a few strips of bacon, and caramelized onions. It’s just enough to keep me going until dinner, but I’m treating it as a necessary sacrifice so I can wear swimsuits this summer.
Breast implants
A friend of mine wants to get breast implants. I never expected I’d end up learning so much about these things. The details are actually pretty fascinating, and the price range is huge depending on the type of treatment. If I were getting them myself, I’d go for the biggest size that still looks natural - because why not? Now that I know a fair bit about the subject, I’m thinking of using that knowledge for a related script in the hospital location of the game.
