N_Taii - Proof of Life #328: Controversial Scene?

Heya guys and gals! How are you doing on this fine morning/afternoon/evening?
It’s N_Taii here, and I am definitely not struggling more and more to find images that aren't too spoilery, yet not too boring either. So, here you go: you get the Duke and Ulrod’s backs, along with some mysterious dialogue that might have you scratching your head for a minute or two.
I’m currently in the middle of creating the first scene of the ending. It’s going to be quite extensive, complete with several animations and a dedicated map. Honestly, it might prove to be a bit of a controversial scene because a few "artifices" come into play as a central narrative plot point.
I know people generally don’t like aphrodisiacs, hypnosis, or anything that cheapens corruption by making it instant and effortless, so I didn’t introduce any of that. Still, you might notice the image has a slight purple tint, which hints that something is being used anyway.
This is going to be a crucial scene with a major impact on the rest of the story, so I had to make it a bit more extreme. You’ll understand once you play the update! ^^
Anyway, I don’t have a whole lot more to say. Writing, map-making, and commissioning stuff has been my routine for the past week, and it’ll probably stay that way for the upcoming one, too.
By the way, update 26 will be released to the public sometime this week, so for those who haven’t played it yet, look forward to that! :)
