Hey guys, I’m checking in to talk about Update 0.11.
I’ll be honest with you — this update is turning out to be really labor-intensive. I wasn’t kidding when I said it would be a big one. Right now it already has more characters and scenes than any other update I’ve ever made (and I’m still not finished, there’s going to be even more). It’s tough, but also interesting. I set myself the goal of making a solid story-driven update with a lot of beautiful story scenes and some action. I think it’s coming together pretty well.
I sacrificed some income by taking more time than usual, but damn, I really wanted to put real creative effort into this one. There were a lot of experiments, and most of them turned out successfully.
From a story perspective, you’ll learn a lot more about Mia, her past, the history of witches in the universe I’ve created, and why all of this is so important to her. I know My A-rank Witch is still primarily an 18+ game focused on delivering adult content as sweetly as possible — that’s my job as an adult game developer. But I’m being honest when I say I love writing stories, I love the fantasy genre, and I love creating an engaging plot. Right now I’m trying to mix my passion for writing fantasy novels with everything I’ve learned while creating adult content. That’s what My A-rank Witch is.
