I’m really excited to share the latest piece from my Bara Crushes Revival challenge!
This time we’re diving into a game that’s very special to me: Tales of Symphonia on the GameCube. I picked it up almost by chance back in the day at my local game store… and I had no idea I’d get completely hooked on its world. I ended up replaying it three times because I was totally obsessed!
The character for this illustration is Regal Bryant. He shows up pretty late in the story, and his in-game model from that era isn’t exactly the most flattering… But the cinematic cutscenes and official artworks were more than enough to make me fall for him.
I’ve always been fascinated by that white crop top that shows off his steel abs and those beautifully sculpted biceps. My god, what a snack!
He almost got a spot in my alphabet challenge instead of Riven, but at the time I was struggling to find a good scene for him. The idea finally clicked thanks to a specific detail from his lore: in the game, Regal wears solid handcuffs on his wrists (as a symbol of his past and his vow never to use his hands to kill again). Not impossible… but way less practical for a handjob! That’s where the pecs fuck idea came from.
It’s not shown directly (that pose is a bit tricky to frame for me), but I slipped in a little nod through the dialogue… and that’s all it took! Haha!
He’s a pretty niche character, but I really wanted to pay homage to him at least once. I hope this illustration hits the spot for you as much as it did for me!
