Good day, dear survivors!
Project Venus v0.2.5 is finally ready. This update introduces several major features: the completed pregnancy system, a new poker minigame, a redesigned status menu, and a completely reworked virus evolution system.
Pregnancy System
One of the most complex and important systems in the game has finally been completed.
The pregnancy system is one of the most complex and important mechanics we have ever developed for Project Venus, and it has now been completely rebuilt from the ground up.
The old collection of switches and simple event checks has been replaced by a unified day-based simulation. The new system tracks Jillian’s cycle, its different phases, ovulation, fertility modifiers, pregnancy progress, and multiple stages of embryonic development.
It also separately tracks the amount and viability of genetic material left by every potential father. These values naturally decrease over time and are affected by the current phase of the cycle. Human, mutant, and hybrid sources are recognized independently.
The probability of conception is no longer a simple fixed percentage. It is dynamically calculated using the current fertility level, cycle phase, total viable amount, additional modifiers, and configured biological limits.
If there are several possible fathers, the system performs a weighted paternity calculation. Each candidate’s chance depends on their actual contribution rather than everyone receiving an equal random chance. Once conception occurs, the system remembers the exact father, his identity, and his biological type, allowing future events to react accordingly.
Pregnancy then progresses day by day through several stages, with its current state, progress, estimated time remaining, and other information available through the new status interface.
Finishing this system required a tremendous amount of technical work, but it now gives us a solid foundation for future content. The following updates will focus on expanding pregnancy-related events and realizing everything you expect from this mechanic, and hopefully even more.
Poker Minigame
Poker is an exciting game with a huge number of possible outcomes.
Its greatest advantage is the opportunity to make money quickly, or lose absolutely everything. This includes your money, your clothes, and even the option to offer yourself as the prize.
Poker already includes many spicy scenes, but this is only the beginning. Future updates will introduce new players, additional encounters, and entirely new branches of events.
Progression And Virus Evolutions
The evolution menu has been completely redesigned. It now has a clearer, more convenient, and visually polished interface.
With the new system in place, you can expect additional progression paths and new evolutions of the virus inside the heroine’s blood. These may affect her sexual desires, metabolism, embryonic development, and much more.
This system gives us considerable freedom to introduce new mechanics, transformations, and consequences in future updates.
New Status Menu
The previous status screen has been replaced with a completely redesigned menu.
It provides a clearer overview of Jillian’s current condition, important parameters, and information connected to the game’s new systems.
Additional Improvements
Various gameplay and interface improvements.
Save-system and autosave fixes.
New events.
Performance and stability improvements.
Numerous smaller bugs discovered during testing have been fixed.
The update was tested by several testers who put a great deal of time and effort into finding problems. We are extremely grateful for their help.
However, we still expect players to encounter bugs, especially during unusual event combinations or autosaving. Please report every issue you find and include a screenshot, save file, and a description of what happened immediately before the problem.

Unfortunately, save files from previous versions are no longer compatible with this update due to the extensive changes made to the game’s core systems.
