Young & Naughty - Dev log — Another sneak peek at upcoming overhauls!

Believe it or not, these two areas are the ones I'm personally most excited about. Dorm lobbies, while seemingly uninteresting on their own, have the potential to offer the widest variety of events of any location currently existing in our game. It's one of the few areas where students drop their public personas and start acting like their real selves, which is a great opportunity to give our players a peek as to what happens when they aren't personally involved in action: Girls walking around in bathrobes, someone arguing with concierge, people on their way to hang out with friends or slowly shambling back after having one too many.
Another great thing is that they allow us to add more interactions with the existing romantic interests outside of their respective storylines. Sure, the same can be said about many other overhauled areas, but usually they aren't as home-ey as these two. You're basically visiting someone's house and seeing what they're up to in their free time, how they interact with their neighbours, chat with friends, or just act all clueless because being adult isn't as easy as they originally thought.
On top of that, and I don't think this has ever been mentioned in our game, teachers and officers also live in the same dorm as students. They occupy top floors of the building, but instead of having a small two-person rooms, they live in mini-apartments with their own kitchens, bathrooms, and sleeping areas. While we won't let you to visit these apartments just yet (but they will be added as actual in-game areas eventually), you will be able to meet your teachers and captains here during their off-time. Just like students, it's a rare instance when they stop acting like trained professionals and just become normal people that do normal people stuff. Like, being horny or suffering mental breakdown due to the ever-present stress of knowing that your personal worth is solely defined by your productivity. Mostly just being horny, though.
After the overhaul, we will constantly expand the selection of events in Dorm Lobbies because literally every character in the game, with a few rare exceptions, calls this place their home. And in case you wondered, yes, we are planning to add actual rooms that you can visit inside the dorms, but they will come much later in a separate series of updates.
