How have you all been this month? Melting yet? Are you getting ice cream? Getting some rest? Sleeping enough?! (I damn hope you are!) I've been pretty busy these past few weeks organizing my next mooooove! Yes, I am moving yet again...
I am leaving the seaside and moving back to a bigger city. First I thought I wanted to settle here, but then... I realized I needed more. More access to what I love, which includes: the arts, plays, events, museums, and more opportunities to pursue some of my ambitions. I love my job as a content creator/storyteller very much, but as you know, it can get very lonely. I recently flew out to the US to volunteer at a convention for a weekend, and it really pushed me out of my comfort zone and made me realize I needed more social contact in my daily life. It was super intense but also quite fulfilling, as I was a talent handler for an amazing, seasoned actor My role was basically to escort him from one activity with his fans to another! Two very full-on days
Upon coming back to Europe, I felt like I wanted a change. I tried to buy a place here in this seaside town but the sale fell through, so I started looking at a nearby city. I eventually found the perfect little apartment, so... I'M BUYING MY OWN PLACE! Which is something I have always dreamed of, but always wondered how I could achieve, on my own, in this economy (lol ). Of course, I owe it all to no one else but you guys, who support me and are helping me build my dream life
So now I have to be patient... my offer and mortgage application have been accepted but it's a waiting game not much more I can do apart from prepare for my move and start packing! I am NOT looking forward to that part... every time, it always turns out I have way more stuff than I thought I did But I like to be organized and do things in advance (obvs you already know that), so even though the move probably won't happen before early September, I'm gonna get started soon
