I wanted to make another reel featuring Vincent after work with a quieter tone, similar to what we showed with him first coming home to his apartment. But here there's a sort of bittersweet feeling, kind of a calm before the storm in the events of the short film.
Some of the animation here is still rough blocking. The textures on the beer and the chips are also temporary for now and will be changed for the final short. I think I might add a shot of Vincent placing the beer bottle on the table before microwaving his mystery food, just to give another beat there. The microwave also seems small so I'll scale that up when refining.
Sounds and music will play a big role here! Again something soft and quiet with a piano that sets the mood.
