Maplestar - End of July Update Post! + Previews

Hi everyone,
Thank you so much for the amazing reception to the July poll! Everyone’s support, enthusiasm, and interest continue to mean the world to me, and I’m so excited to announce the winner on August 1st.
Seeing how much excitement there was for certain couples in the poll was incredibly helpful, and I’ll definitely be keeping many of those pairings in mind for future videos whenever the opportunity comes up. I’ll also be considering some of the couples suggested in the replies and over on Discord, so thank you again to everyone who took the time to share who you’d love to see!
Now, onto the July previews!
The first preview is for the Sakamoto Days project.
The second and third previews are for the Frieren project.
The fourth preview is for the Maple-chan project.
The fifth preview is for the One Piece project.
The sixth preview is for the Kaiju No. 8 project.
Sakamoto Days is now extremely close to release and will definitely be coming out in August, most likely during the first half of the month! It’s just down to final checks on compositing, lip syncing, and editing. Kaiju No. 8 will follow afterward, and I’m currently hoping to release it before the end of September, with early October being the latest estimate. Almost all the final color work is done for it and it’s currently entering the compositing stage. As always, I’ll continue keeping everyone updated as production progresses.
Both of these are smaller projects compared to some of the larger videos I have planned or have released this year, but they each contain many moments that I personally love. There’s some pretty funny animation in both these videos that I also am incredibly excited for everyone to finally see!
Frieren, Maple-chan, One Piece, and the shorter High School DxD sequel are also still in production and continuing to progress very well. Frieren, specifically, has about 75% of its final color done and I’m hoping to start compositing for it within the next month or two. I’ll try to share more accurate release-window estimates for each of these projects soon, but I want to be confident that I can meet those targets before officially announcing anything.
Beyond all of these projects, there are also still a few surprise videos quietly moving forward behind the scenes, and I can’t wait to reveal more about them in the future!
