This month's free content is the first Wizard D&D subclass we created back in 2024, the Cosmic Magic Wizard.
Cosmic Magic reaches beyond the understanding of a single school, seeking to harness the grand cosmic energies of creation, and that which first gave birth to the world as we know it. Students of Cosmic Magic understand that the rules of the universe, like anything else, can be bent and reshaped. With enough power, these rules can even be broken.
Cosmic Magic is a Wizard subclass designed for Dungeons & Dragons 5th edition and 5.5e. The features for the Cosmic Magic Wizard include...
Lv 3. Everything Is Connected. Cosmic Magic touches on all types, and those who study it can more easily learn spells from other schools.
Lv 3. Universal Conduit. The powers of the universe flow through you, they manifest as cosmic orbs, which a Cosmic Wizard can use for a variety of powerful effects.
Lv 3. Elemental Flux. Through the cosmic orbs these Wizards can effect the Resistances and Immunities of those around them, protecting allies or weakening foes.
Lv 6. Stellar Infusion. Cosmic Wizards can tap into the magic of others, allowing them to share or swap the remaining arcane power within them or change the type of spell of someone else as they are casting it.
Lv 10. Cosmic Counter. Every mage knows how to Counterspell, but with Cosmic Magic, when a spell is countered, it can be siphoned and used to restore spell slots.
Lv 14. Parallax Spell Art. Cosmic Magic Wizards can become powerful enough to duplicate the spells they cast, turning their cosmic orbs into magical resources on the spot.
22 Cosmic Magic Spells. New magic spells include; Astral Armor, Big Bang, Cosmic Rays, Grace, Investiture of Stars and more.
