Karniktus - Soraka pt.1 Behind The Scenes

infoAbout This Title

I hope you all enjoyed the 1st part of Soraka's animation.

It was fun, but also challenging to make, especially since this was my first voiced story and everything.

BUT...

I was exhausted after finishing this piece, so I honestly won’t jump straight into making the sequel, even though I already have Part 2 planned. For the next animation, I want to do something that won’t drain all my brain cells.

I think it’s good to challenge myself sometimes with projects like this and the voiced story, then follow it up with something simpler to recharge.

The Anniv. Animation

I can’t thank you guys enough for how well the anniversary animation was received, and of course, for everyone who reposted it and helped spread the word. That kind of support really helps our community grow.

When I release a new animation, I usually avoid reading the comments right away. I wait a couple of days so the views, likes, and comments can build up, and I can better judge how the video performed.

That review stage is honestly both exciting and nerve-wracking because there’s always an element of surprise. Thankfully, the reception lately has been overwhelmingly positive, aside from a few comments from people who clearly don't understand the kind of kink I’m making. I usually just ignore those. Some comments are even funny, like the one that quoted a Bible verse lol.

it’s heartwarming to read all the positive feedback. It inspires me to keep going, and I definitely wouldn’t have gotten this far without it.

Early stages

I had already released two worm-themed animations in a row, and I didn’t want the next one to repeat that, even though a lot of people wanted more. I wanted something special.

Since there were no publicly available futa models with a horse dong, I had to figure out which character would fit best. My first thought was furries, since that’s the obvious choice, but I wasn’t in the right mindset to make a furry project just for the sake of making the horse dong work. That would have forced the idea, and the animation probably wouldn’t have turned out well.

Then Soraka came along.

I thought, “She’s the perfect candidate for a horse dong,” so I locked in. Credits to @Bobotjs.

I had to do a lot of cheats to make Soraka with a horse dong work, but in the end I think it turned out pretty well. I might even use the same method to attach horse dongs to human futa characters in the future. Anyone interested in that?

After a few render tests and camera placements, I finally had something that worked without feeling forced.

What inspired the story stuff?

Honestly, the voice-acted story, inner monologue, and using the VA’s delivery as a guide for the cinematics were not my first idea, because that would have required a lot more work.

My first thought was simpler. Soraka getting milked continuously for the public version, with the Patreon exclusive being a multi-tentacle urethral scene.

During my break from the anniversary animation, I had been binging tentacle x futa manga. Those are goated, and they’re one of the things I turn to when I’m out of inspiration. They also helped shape my style as Karniktus.

The text and inner monologues in those manga do a lot of heavy lifting. They make a static image feel more erotic and immersive, and I thought, what if I created something like that?

I was hesitant at first because of how much work it would take, but I kept thinking, this is the first time the community is seeing a futa with a horse dong. A simple animation wouldn’t do it justice. I wanted it to feel extra special, so I brainstormed a script.

The Script

Writing the script was one of the hardest parts. I didn’t want it to be generic, full of blunt statements, or overly poetic.

I wouldn’t say it was perfect, but for a first attempt, it wasn’t bad. I managed to write lines that described what I wanted and helped convey that feeling through the animation itself.

I did cut a few lines that would have been in the final scene, because I didn’t want it to become a dialogue fest. I wanted viewers to get a break from the dialogue and hear Soraka’s moans. Balancing those scenes was important, because I also didn’t want dead air.

I originally thought the final script would only run about 3 to 4 minutes. I was confident because I had already cut parts out. So I was surprised when the VA submitted her work and it ended up being 5 minutes and 40 seconds.

When I sent the script to the VA, all she had were early draft pictures. No animation draft, no blocking, no nothing. Just a static image of Soraka.

At that point, I worried I might have bitten off more than I could chew.

But since the VA was already paid and I had the recording, I pushed forward and made something out of those static images I made.

I really did follow the VA’s voice quite literally while making the animation. Before sending the script, I had already planned some scenes and camera angles, but once I got the recording, most of those ideas no longer worked. I had to adapt to how she delivered the lines, so it became a bit of a guessing game.

I’m glad she did such a great job. We didn’t even discuss how I wanted her to sound. I just gave her the script and told her I trusted her to do good work, and she did. That meant I could keep going without having to stop and wait for re-records. Everything went smoothly until the end.

Change of plans

This animation being split into parts was never the original plan, and neither was the title reveal. The title was supposed to be just the caption for my social media post, something like “Soraka getting drained by a tentacle.”

My original plan was to make it a full-feature animation. Since I abandoned the idea of splitting it into public and Patreon versions, it was going to be early access.

But after working on it for so long, I got mesmerized by the horse dong and started to understand why so many people had requested it. I kept thinking it would be a shame if we only saw Soraka’s horse dong getting milked.

I’ve seen a lot of artworks involving horse dongs being tentacle urethrally penetrated, egged, or giving birth, so I wanted to branch out into those ideas. That’s why I ended up dividing this Soraka project into parts, so everyone gets a piece of their own kink. The first part is this milking animation.

Animation thought process. The Horse body part

Working with a horse dong for the first time came with a few challenges, especially because of its protruding shape compared to human genitals.

The main issue came when the tentacle sucker slid over it. The protruding shape would clip out of the sucker, so I had to adjust the shape of the sucker itself. That was honestly the most tedious part, and I had to keep adjusting it throughout the sucking part of the animation.

I learned a lot from the process, and honestly, I don’t think horse dongs are ideal for tentacle milking scenes. They’re probably better suited for urethral, egging, or birthing scenes. Still, I got to try it and show it to everyone. I don’t think I’ll make another horse dong milking scene for a long time.

Since this was the first time we’d see a tentacle sucker milk a horse dong, I wanted to make it memorable by making the horse dong gradually get wetter and sloppier as Soraka kept getting milked.

I think I nailed that sloppy look, especially around the middle of the video. I really enjoyed adding that effect.

The internal shot

I also introduced a new and improved internal shot, and I can honestly say I enjoyed making that part a lot.

Seeing Soraka’s horse dong being massaged and squeezed inside, while she released multiple huge loads, was a sight to witness. To make it even sexier, I made the tentacle sucker sleeve progressively change every time Soraka blew a load, so the inside became whiter and slimer each time.

The cum sim also did a lot of the heavy lifting. Seeing the cum overflow the inside of the tentacle sucker and react as Soraka's getting sucked was awesome!

Now I can imagine how sexy that would look with normal futa genitals inside. I’m excited to do one soon.

One of my Patreon subscribers in Discord even said something like, “What would it look like to implement the internal shot in my old Futa Emma Frost video?

The environment

I first planned to go with the fleshy biomass route again, but change the color to violet or purple to reflect the Void from League of Legends. I even watched the Kai’Sa cinematic for reference.

But it didn’t look good on my end. It felt dull and boring, probably because it didn’t match Soraka’s magical theme. So I scrapped the whole biomass setup and started over.

My second layout was a cave with some biomass elements added in. While building it, I ran into a major lighting problem. The cave was too dark. What kind of light would even make sense there? A simple area light would just make it look like a mining expedition, which was actually what my first lighting draft looked like.

So I came up with the idea of adding glowing magical flowers together with biomass, and that ended up being the final result. It made the environment look magical and alien, which fit the Void theme perfectly.

Soraka's pose

I originally planned to change poses throughout the scene, similar to my Anniversary Zoey animation. But since I was following the VA’s voice and the script so closely, I had to stay with one pose and save the rest for Part 2 and beyond.

That was one of the challenges I faced. I wanted the scene to feel dynamic, but the foundation was already set. Changing the pose halfway through would have required everything else to be adjusted, and that would have slowed me down even more.

Instead, I made the intro more interesting by not revealing everything right away and only showing glimpses of Soraka until the full reveal. That built anticipation, and I felt it while making it too.

I also like the ending pose, where she lies back and surrenders to the pleasure, with trembling legs, a strained expression, and her eyes rolling back. It makes for a strong ending and hints at what’s coming next.

Resting phase

I’m starting to think about releasing short loops or shorter animations, like the Susie public video, which was under 2 minutes. I have yet to think this properly.

The reason is that it could serve as a cooldown phase. Releasing long animations back-to-back is exhausting, and I’m worried I’ll burn myself out if I keep doing that. Nothing good comes from burnout, especially for my new animation releases.

Thank you everyone for your patience and support. I hope I delivered in this Soraka piece despite the delay.
