I had to pleasure of doing the outfit / mech / kaiju designs for Anthro Weekend Utah this year. The last image are the official designs of each character (made long ago, I simply redrew them) and all other images are the concepts I came up with personally.The theme was PowerRangers + Pacific Rim + Voltronesque and I had a big sheet of text to work off of. Mechs are definitely out of my wheelhouse but it was a fun challenge to try and get them to work. I'm a little sad the animal mechs weren't showcased too much, but they did get a beautiful feature on the convention T-shirt (made by Tokyozilla). Kaiju Prryce was my favorite to work on. The team ended up going with his yellow color scheme but I have a special place in my head for the orange and blue. I'm also decently proud of the crew's weapons and outfits. Drawing little Prryce cat in an oversized Rita Repulsa costume was a big highlight. It was delightful seeing the designs I did on all the banners and merch for the convention. It was like a little piece of me was in all of it. It was also neat to see how each artist added their own spin on everything :3
