alright, i was planning to finish up the play quickly, but turns out drawing this many talksprites took quite a bit of time. Who would've tought that something that involves poses and talking would require a lot of precisely those things. Anyways, this time i'm done for real with this part. Just need to animate piercer leaving with the hellhound, and i don't think that'll take two whole days? hopefully?
Here's what i managed to finish, starting with mal dressed as andy, talking to the "phone" from the intro.
same with sid dressed as zap, plus him pedaling offstage.
i realized that mal and barbie would probably need talk animations before the former would feed a gallon of archdevil splooge down the latter's throat.
after that i animated the "explosion" that sent everyone to hell, wich corresponds to de facto the end of the play.
before this though, me and rick estabilished that someone would need to play zeke, since the whole thing is to blame everything that happened on him. So here's paz interpreting him and using his "spooky angel powers" to cause zap's bike to go out of control.
finally, i needed to draw some props that are needed for the puzzle part of the section. I already drew some clouds, some underwater ambience and candyland props, but i don't feel like showing them because they're kinda plain. amongst these props tho there are some fun ones, like the snowy/yeti set---
...the military set...
... and my (and zap's) favorite, the sexy clown set.
so , long story short, this part is in the bag. Next time i'll draw the piercer leaving animation and go back to finish up the D.O.R.K. center. I forgot there's a cutscene that i have to draw with zeke hotdogging the angel teacher , and i have to draw a couple extra staff members for the place. So there's still a bit to do before the game assets are done, but we're getting there!
