About This Title
You arrive at the magician academy that morning as the newest student. The halls smell of ink, old stone, and residual magic. Upperclassmen whisper about the Dark Arts wing—especially about Professor Kassandra Cleave. Thirty-six, brilliant, terrifying, and very visibly pregnant. They say her lessons go far beyond textbooks.
After orientation you receive a single note:
[Report to the Dark Arts office. Immediately]
You walk the long corridor alone. Tall windows, flickering sconces, shelves of forbidden volumes lining the walls. Your footsteps echo. At the end of the hall the heavy oak door stands slightly ajar.
You push it open.
Kassandra Cleave was already waiting for you.
