Guys a very important thing I want to run by you. (Patreons Only)TLDR: Jump to the bottom for the question
So, there is a specific scene with Kaelix, where she says the banger phrase below.
"Straker, was it? Once I break out, I'll make sure to force you into servitude as my primary face mop for my lady parts"
So this line, though vulgar and funny is intentional - I put it in there for shock value, as playing it through shows you just what she's thinking and sets the tone.
But it is pretty much as explicit as it gets in game voice wise (there will be an NSFW expansion in the future if DC does well).
Now it's harder to get top voice actresses who would voice those lines (it is possible), and I've got one who is cool with the rest but would prefer I re-write that line.Right now, i'm chatting about a bigger picture i.e. forget re-writing the line, 'are you onboard with this general theme in game anyway?' because that's the issue we had with Floramel's original VA.
My question is to you:
Do we tame up that line, (some provocative lines voiced, the more stronger ones in text only exposition)
Do we keep the line, and i'll continue the search for Kaelix? [2 weeks delay in showcasing her to you guys]
Final note, it's not hard to find voice actors, just time consuming (why i prefer to use standins and get actors towards the end) .
