mainlinemojo - Traditional Stuff - Maya and Evelynn
infoAbout This Title
Took some time during MegaPlex and a bit today to draw some stuff for myself. I had a few advances in my traditional skill recently, so I wanted to get some more stuff down.
Maya Sexo! - The Main Girl herself. I'm still in love the her new bangs, but I just haven't drawn her a whole lot this year. Trying to change that. I don't know why she stole Loona's outfit tho!
I really overcooked the sketch, so there's a few graphite marks that got pressed and sweated into the paper that I couldn't get out - tho now, I think I could have knocked them back with some white gel...
Switching to white mixed media paper has really let me push and pull things that I couldn't before on toned paper.
Evelynn Blasto! - Actually, not Blasto - my intention was to show Evee failing a spell cast, but it more looks like she's cooking her hand? I'm not sure.
I actually switched over to Evee after inking and color testing the Maya drawing because the base marker I was using for Maya's dark fur crapped out on me. Unsurprisingly, the goat girl I've been drawing for 5 months straight just flowed right out of my pencil, and the sketch and inks happened incredibly quickly - as did the colors later. I'm quite interested in the shading style I've trying out for these things.
