PTHS - Investor Special + Backstage

infoAbout This Title

Changes in Publications

In the near future (I hope) Patreon will finally allow native video publishing, so you will be able to watch videos right inside the post with the built-in player. Patreon does not recommend uploading 4K videos because of possible instability and the need for a more stable internet connection. Because of that, the player will only have FHD (1080p) versions with a watermark.

Also, starting from the next works, posts will include a large ZIP archive instead of separate mp4 files. Inside the archive you will find 4K videos without watermark, plus other versions: “Extended”, “SFX”, “SFX & VA” and “Public”. New “SFX” and “SFX & VA” versions will be added under both the regular and “Extended” versions. Animations without “SFX” / “SFX & VA” will now come without any audio tracks.

This way you can choose what you prefer, and you will also be able to add your own voice or SFX to my animations. For that purpose there will be a “Public” version that you can post anywhere if you make any changes and credit me as the author. Please note that the “Public” version will not be available for VR animations, because VR works are not meant for public release.

PC Upgrade

Thanks to your support (I am really grateful for it) I was finally able to buy a completely new PC. It is about 70% more powerful than my current one. This will let me improve quality, speed up rendering and do other improvements in future works. I will carefully test what I can push higher and what is not worth it, so I don’t accidentally make render times longer than before (in other words — avoid overkill).

A Bit of Backstage

Sometimes while working on an animation I suddenly stop liking it completely and start redoing parts of it or even the whole thing. I think everyone who has ever animated something knows this feeling. Sometimes one animation has only one blend file, and sometimes I end up with several different versions.

Here are some versions of the animations (viewport renders) that were either reworked or completely changed:

And another camera angle from the Loona animation:

Changes in Public Content Strategy

I saw that 93% of people who voted think the content can be fully released to the public after 20-30 days. I took this into account, but I am not going to switch to that system right now. At the moment I am testing a different approach (you can already see it with the latest release). If I don’t like how it works, I will think about moving to the public release strategy. At the same time I don’t rule out that I might just stay with the way I have always done it, simply because I am already used to it.

Changes in Post-Processing and Rendering

After the release of the animation with Uzi, I completely changed the way I do post-processing and rendering. Now Blender renders the background and the characters separately, and then I combine them. This should improve the quality of the characters and make the background blur look better (maybe some bigger creators do the same). Effects like glow, gamma and vignette are still there — I just adjusted them a little.

Futanari Content

From the voting results I saw that there are people who are interested in Futanari content, and there are not that few of them. Starting from the next animation I will simply set a fixed rule of 2-1 (two regular animations, then one Futanari, and then the cycle repeats). In the model & action voting it will be mentioned that the next animation will include Futanari.
