MrKipler - Serious conversation, serious thoughts
infoAbout This Title
Okay, I didn’t expect that SO MANY new people would come to me from this project, and no matter how many times I say “I’m doing everything for free” and “we’re just here for fun,” this kind of… influx, even if "temporary" subscribers allow me to not just “survive” for a while.
And besides the shock, for the second day now I can’t stop thinking… Am I doing everything right?
Do I need to stop making animations as "comissions" so that I can bring to life the ideas of people who can’t do it themselves and therefore pay money so that I can do it? Should I stop making small animations and focus on big projects? Do I need to put some content behind a paywall?
Or should I keep moving in the direction I’m moving in order to preserve myself and not turn into someone who “does it only for the money”? Because, to be CRYSTALLY HONEST, sometimes i want to dream of a "better life" (we all do i think)
At the same time, I understand that the answer to all of this is one thing — to work much more than I currently do. This has always been and will always be the answer. To be able to create models, short animations, and large projects, and at the same time have the money to pay for sound, because animations without sound have been a dead end for a long time now.
What else would I like to say? Thank you to the new people who have come to see what we’ve done — even if you’re not here for long, I’m still glad to see you. And a huge thank you to those who have been with me all this time. This delay before publication has always been my way of saying “thank you,” not a way to make money, because if it weren’t for you, I would still be making short animations once a month or two, because I would keep living at work.
