I ended up getting really sick and had to spend the day resting. The hardest part about living alone is that when I get completely absorbed in balancing my new day job, the gym, and creating content for Patreon, I sometimes neglect eating as well as I should. My immunity just dropped completely! But please do not worry, I am feeling so much better today and I am back in action!

Since we are getting back on track, I realized it has been a while since we had a proper community update, so let's talk about the future!

Let's be completely transparent: I have been a bit overwhelmed lately. Because I recently started a new job (I can't quite live off Patreon just yet, but we will get there one day!), the game development had to take a slight backseat. But please know this is still a massive dream of mine and I am absolutely bringing it to life!

I have actually decided to shift the core focus of the game. We are moving away from the generic "school" setting and pivoting entirely to focus on the photography aspect! We are adding new level-up mechanics, bringing in more characters, and I am currently working on a brand new visual identity that I will be showing you all very soon.

Here is the brand new synopsis:

You arrive in the city with a camera and a massive dream. You want to study at a top photography university, but that plan crashes instantly when the school cancels its scholarship program. You now have exactly 90 days to build a flawless portfolio and gather a mountain of cash for tuition. Completely broke, you are out of options.

A sweet, deeply maternal professor named Mio pulls some strings and gets you a room in Dorm 501. The building is barely standing. The pipes leak, the walls are cracking, and the resident manager is overwhelmed trying to hide the massive debt piling up under her name.

You propose a wild deal: You will act as the handyman to fix the broken infrastructure. In exchange, the girls living there will model for your new premium subscription platform. They agree faster than expected, realizing they desperately need a cut of that money for their own hidden goals. The spicy photos will bring in cash from online fans to save the dorm and pay your tuition, while the artistic shots build the portfolio you need for college. Now, you just have to convince five very complicated girls to drop their guards and step in front of your lens.

This is something I am incredibly excited about! I am currently working on animated scenes for the game and short video clips.

At first, I tried using third-party apps, but they are way too expensive to sustain, and worse, the characters completely lose their facial consistency. So, I decided to generate everything locally on my own machine.

This brought up a whole new problem: the hardware limit. Even with a solid RTX 5070 Ti, generating high-quality AI video locally is punishing. It literally takes hours just to render 5 seconds of footage! I have been studying and tweaking my generation tools as much as physically possible to find a viable middle ground between render speed and visual quality. The resolution is still a bit lower than I want right now, but I am deep in the testing phase!

Once I get the video generation looking smooth and perfect, I am not entirely sure how it will be packaged as a product, but it will definitely be launched as an exclusive perk for the highest tiers first!
