Hi everybody!When I was 15, I went trick-or-treating with my good friend Rachel in my parents neighbourhood, which is a huge complex of 600 or so row houses all packed tight and Halloween was always like trick-or-treating on steroids. I was a teenager but I always looked young for my age, so I still passed for about 11 or 12. Rachel, however did not, and at one house, we got some old fart berating her for how "old" she was and how she shouldn't be doing that anymore. Me, born with no chill, then deadpan asked the old man if he would prefer it if teenagers just went and did hard drugs in alleyways instead. Perhaps a little on the extreme side, but he had no right to speak to her that way, and that shut him up. Anyways, I personally believe there's no age "too old" for trick-or-treating! Every year we still prepare 700+ treats and those are for everybody.
Today's artwork features trick-or-treating and the poll winner for the costume: Red Riding Hood!
I have always loved this style of costume for women, and I remember when this type of costume at the party store (or the Halloween store that only pops up for like a month at a time) used to be decent quality and you could get something like this fairly easily. They don't make em like they used to, but it's still a perfect upgrade for our friend here!
Anyways, I hope you enjoy this drawing!! Hopefully there's still time to draw more Halloween themed stuff!
