About This Title
At the moment, the two things I struggle with the most are perspective and drawing full-body characters standing up, besides the hands and fingers. It’s easy enough when the character isn’t particularly “thick” - my hand has somehow memorized all the curves by now. But when you try to stick to the canon, or at least something close to canon like with Asuka in the first sketch, drawing just turns into hell.Asuka’s face, btw, actually turns out the best for me out of everyone I’ve drawn. I don’t know why, but a year or two ago I used to practice drawing Asuka, and it’s pretty damn funny to look back at. Just look at everything after the second sketch.
Anyway, jokes aside, I really enjoyed drawing Asuka. She has such a fun energy to her as a character (if you ignore everything that happens in Evangelion)
