Hello Friends!
I may seem quiet to you, but that's only because I'm knee deep in a lot of work. So, let me tell you the things I've been working on:
Karla Raven - The Revenant
I'm about 70% done with the mod! It has come a long way. I'm looking at 2 weeks MAX until I release her for early access here on Patreon. Once again, the mod is voiced by Kerstyn Unger with all-new lines (nearly 1,000). Some interesting facts about the mod:
Comes with optional Romantasy compatibility. If you choose not to use Romantasy, you can still use the follower. One caveat is that the romance lines are part of Romantasy, so you won't get as many lines.
She has all-new spells, abilities, and a new weapon that doesn't glow so much but still looks great.
Her idles are gates so she doesn't blab too much
She is compatible with Horde (follower manager)
I'm so excited about releasing this one and I know many of you have waited a long time now. Well, it is finally going to happen. Hang in there!
Meridian UI
Some of you know what this is already, but its basically a replacement for PRISMA UI. I made it because I wasn't happy with the feature set of PRISMA UI. It is much faster and has some features that PRISMA UI doesn't have, including a built-in model viewer. That said, my main reason for making it is because Meridian has GPU Rendering. This makes the interface lightning quick compared to the previous PRISMA UI, which I know some of you notice is laggy. Meridian UI is a fork of NirnLab UI with a lot of features I added to make it better. I hope you try it out.
Once Meridian UI is released, I'll be releasing updated versions of Romantasy, Horde, and Tailor that support this new speedy UI framework.
Focus on Voiced Followers and Replacers
I made a few decisions about things that I'm working on. Now that Visage and Effigy are done, I'll be focusing less on SKSE mods and Windows Apps and getting back to the voiced followers and replacers I want to make for everyone.
Expect a lot of new, better quality things from me in this regard. Starting with the AI voiced followers I made here on Patreon being updated with REAL voices. I just prefer it. Sure, I can release AI voiced followers faster, but there is no substitute for a real person. I have no issue with AI voices - and in some cases am forced to use them myself - but my goal is to provide the highest quality. That said, I can't afford to pay expensive actresses anymore. So if you know someone who wants to voice a Skyrim mod, send them my way.
For replacers, I'm going to be doing some new things with my asset pack and Recast. I don't want to go into that much detail here about them yet - because some of these ideas are still in research phase, but I'll update everyone soon with details.
