Despite some setbacks which kept me from being able to work for what felt like a month (It was more just a couple weeks) I was able to finish one of the commissions I was working on.
I loved working on this image. It came at a time that I was actually learning different/new techniques in painting lighting. Enkeli's red hair/blue uniform makes a huge point of contrast that helped with this. Normally I would have made the loader maybe a blue/grey colour as well but the normal yellow they were from Aliens helped tie it together.
RKY was fun to design. He's essentially a bunch of legs, with a crate that also has a forward section holding a lenses and modular sockets for manipulators or lights.
I might need to do more space/tech kind of images in the future as this was a blast to learn. While it takes a LONG time for me to do all the little details of machinery in the background it also is kind of zen to do.
The rest of the month or two I'll be working on autumn things. At least one or two Cinders images, with pumpkins, probably with her husband and herd, and probably 'bolds with pumpkins as well.
Spook season has begun.
