Localization work is still ongoing, and it ended up requiring more changes to the internal variables than I initially expected. Alongside that, a few more suits are being added, as well as some new options for the characters' arms.
Work on the UI is also continuing, while the map backgrounds are being reworked to better fit the overall concept of the game. For these backgrounds, I wanted to convey a somewhat unstable and troubled mental state. I'm still not entirely sure how well that comes across, but I think the direction is getting closer to what I had in mind.
I've also been experimenting with a makeup feature. It's not intended to be a full character customization system, but rather a way to create different makeup styles and give players some room to change their appearance.
The same system could eventually extend to body textures as well. This would open up some interesting possibilities in the future, including things like different skin details or tan lines.
