Hello everyone, and welcome to a late Thursday post. In this post we will cover a new and exciting addition to the mod, which is coincidentally one of my most anticipated features I wanted since this time last year.
Introducing, the Compendium.
The Compendium is an in-game wiki system, accessible from the main status GUI. Players will gain more entries for the compendium as they play, gaining knowledge of items, biomes, mobs, abilities, and so much more.
Knowledge can be gained from various sources, like gathering new items, exploring, and interacting with mobs and abilities.
Item Compendium: Including items, blocks, weapons, tools and armors, it will provide players with knowledge of how to obtain the item (drops, loots, structures, biomes), what to use the item for (crafting, evolution), the item's recipes (crafting, smithing, EP evolution), and the item's stats and enchantments.
Biome Compendium: Provides players the dimension of the biome, the blocks can be found in that biome, and the mobs can be found there.
Entity Compendium: Provides players with the selected mobs' intrinsic abilities, their spawn biome, their loot drop (with chance value on hover), their stats, and their appearance.
Race Compendium: Provides the players with the race's stats, alignment, intrinsic abilities/learnables, previous and the next evolution lines as well as the the requirements for evolution.
Ability Compendium: Provides the players with the ability's types/categories, mastery points, how to obtain it, its basic description, and even its detailed features explained.
Obtaining Wisdom will automatically unlock most of the Compendium, granting its user knowledge of the unhidden world.
All of these are subject to change, your feedback and ideas may influence the progression of the mod. We are actively expanding the compendium to make it even more useful.
