You guys, I went to the market this morning to buy some fruits and vegetables (and I needed a new mop too) and usually I wind up getting a couple of tacos, but today I got a guajolote, or it's also more well known as a pambazo (it's a sandwich where the bread is dipped in a guajillo chile salsa, which is very mild, then fried til the outside is crisp before it's filled with sandwich stuff). I've lived in Mexico for almost 5 years and this is the first time I've had one and now I literally cannot stop thinking about it. Have y'all ever tried one? I'm obsessed.
Some pics below I took, so you have an idea of what it looks like. The first is after the bread is dipped and then put into manteca to fry. The next is the sandwich stuffed with all the goodies. Hijole!!!!
Anyway! Moving on lol Thank you all for all the love on vamprry this week! I think y'all liked it? :))) I'll give y'all part 2 this coming week another part of Skardingar (where we'll be finding out who this man was at the very end), as well as another part to The Life of a Homemaker.
