I wanted to show how the Sisters of Twilight gradually lose the power they once held as sacred beings after being repeatedly bred with Beastmen, with their bodies slowly changing and beast-like horns beginning to grow.
I also considered adding a much more drastic transformation, such as covering them in thick fur and giving them goat-like legs. However, I was planning to include armpit hair along with the fur, and I know quite a few people dislike that, so I decided not to make the physical changes too extreme. For that reason, I ultimately decided to keep the changes relatively subtle, adding only the horns and a few minor changes to their faces.
