This update continues the Dungeon Labyrinth timeline, picking up right where the lynx's first expedition into the Shaakin Dinas Empire left off — his second trip in.
We honestly never expected you all to be this passionate about the Anubis brothers that BeastBeat designed, and they took the top spot in the spring comeback poll. So this round we've commissioned a special 3P CG set covering both standard and reverse doggy-style, so fans of enthusiastic doggy action get to eat their fill in one go. Sometimes we feel that VNAnimation and short update pieces alone don't do justice to the charm of the story and the characters — so we made these! Wow, did it take a lot of work. I never expected a full character info card to demand this much effort. The word count isn't small, and compared to a novel you have to wring out a lot of the fluff, while also nailing down story elements that were still just sketches when we were building the game. We hope you enjoy them. These are made for you and your enthusiasm — thank you all!
Each card includes the character's portrait, name, age, physical features and clothing habits, plus personality traits and backstory, along with some sample dialogue showing their speech style.
Click Copy in the lower right corner to paste the text out. You can translate it into any language, or even try it out with a chat agent. Our goal is to write rich character cards that give players freedom to play however they want — you can roll them as D&D characters in a tabletop campaign, or let an AI give you an immersive, sexy chat experience.

The next update will be a big one: it'll include the first boss, a new town area, and as always two new enemies plus one more enemy, with two animation sets in total covering both top and bottom roles. Stay tuned.
In the next update, the roguelike collection will get a batch of new items, and the combat system will go through a round of balance adjustments. Apothecary is a passion project for us and we'll keep updating and refining it — just as we did on the road that brought us BeastBeat.
VNAnimation UI Update Test
We're experimenting with ways to make VNAnimation more fun to watch. Through our updates we've gone from simple sound effects, to background music + SFX + sex sounds and moaning, to experimenting with animated portraits, and most recently to simulated-speech beeps (okay, I don't actually know the proper name for it — anyway: beep beep boop!)
We've decided to take another step: presenting the story with a game-style talking portrait plus UI. It sacrifices a bit of the visible artwork, but let's see how it turns out.
VNAnimation will update around Sept 5th — we'd love to hear what you think of it then.
