While swinging through the Spider-Verse, Gwen made a quick pit stop on Earth 1610 to steal some Pym particles. She figured a size boost might give the spiders a real edge against Morlun and The Inheritors.
“They won’t expect a run-in from a 49 ft Spider-Woman,” she said, swinging into a secluded alley.
She flipped back her hood and inspected the vial of Pym particles in her gloved hand. “Do I like… drink it? I should have stolen an instruction manual.”
Her fidgeting with the vial suddenly activated an aerosol spray, blasting red mist straight into her face.
“Shit! Ok, you just gas yourself I guess.”
A warm tingling suddenly spread through her body. “Is it getting warm in here?” she said, fanning her face. She steadied herself as the world started shrinking around her.
“It’s working! I’m growing!”
RIP! Her suit began tearing at the seams. It was already getting dangerously tight across her chest and thighs. “Ok… maybe I didn’t think this through,” she muttered, voice cracking with disbelief, as she burst through her spider suit.
“Oh well. It really didn’t add much protection anyway,” she said sarcastically, already standing well over 15 ft tall and counting.
