Whispering Ledger - Retrospective: Penultimate Edition
infoAbout This Title
I remember as a youngling, in Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events series, he dedicated an entire chapter to explaining what "Penultimate" meant in the penultimate book of the series: The Penultimate Peril. Good book. Good series. Anyway, penultimate means second from the last.
The v0.1 version of Whispering Ledger launched October 10th, 2025, so we've almost hit our first anniversary for the project, which will be fully finished before the second anniversary. It honestly doesn't seem like it's been that long, but here we are.
I won't bore you with my current feelings about everything, but I will say I'm excited for the full release next July. This is my "learning" project, so looking back on the journey so far, I probably would have done close to 85% of things differently from the very beginning, but I'll be able to take these lessons into future blahblahblah
If you've been here from the beginning, you must have a very high tolerance for shenanigans and chicanery, for which I salute you. Other than that, I'll save any other announcements for next month.
