It's ironic for United to claim to want to be bigger in Florida since they repeatedly show they care little about serving Florida from anywhere other than Newark (EWR). Delta has tried a few times to build a hub in Miami (MIA), most recently with partner LATAM doing most of the heavy lifting. United covets the same thing, and it makes sense given their weak position in the Caribbean, the Southeast, and particularly Florida. Of course, it isn't happening unless MIA really means Ft. Separately United's CEO said he was banned from casinos because of his gambling/card counting skills prompting an excellent, if raunchy, comment from an X poster that he probably also says he is banned from brothels due to girth.
