Thanks to everyone who stopped by my table at the Mischief Makers market today - I was a very last-minute addition when someone else couldn't make it, but I had a great time. I'll definitely be back next time!
There have been almost 300 responses to the survey so far, I will begin drawing some conclusions at 500:THE SWORDS 2026 ANNUAL SURVEY

I'll be heading to Thames and then Auckland soon for Overload, maybe Hobbycon and then the New Zealand Game Developers Conference. I would love to catch up with all my Auckland fans! NZGDC has an open day on Saturday, October 3rd - don't miss out!I'll be more than happy to demo Choplet's Dungeon at some local card stores when I'm not at the convention, if anyone would like to help me organize some bonus appearances. I'll be up and I should make the most of this rare pilgrimage!
The proper prototypes for Choplet's Dungeon haven't actually arrived yet, but I have some print & play copies ready to go.
A little feedback on my portfolio would go a long way too! I have a lot of industry vets I need to impress!! Thank you!
I'm on a bit of a time restraint now, so I've got to be as efficient as possible about cleaning the house, packing as much stock as I can for the convention, getting Sticker Club mail sent out and making sure I have as much fun as possible on my little adventure. Oh, and it wouldn't hurt to take good care of my health while I'm at it. Maybe I should get into meal prepping?
