Homegrown Passion with Katy - Come Spend a Little Time in the Garden With Me

I’ve got a brand-new video for you tonight, and I think this one turned out really cute.
Summer is starting to give way to fall here on the farm, which means those giant sunflowers finally had to come down. And you know me… I couldn’t just cut those beautiful stalks down and throw everything away. I found another job for them.
So come hang out with me while I wrestle a few VERY big sunflower stalks , turn one of our raised beds over for fall, and plant carrots, beets and bunching onions.
I’m also trying something that might be a little questionable… I’m planting pretty late for Ohio. So now we get to find out just how much I can grow before winter decides I’ve had enough fun.
And make sure you stay with me because I’ll show you exactly what I’m doing with those big sunflower stalks and how I’m saving them to use in next year’s garden.
