In vanilla San Andreas, when a driver is killed inside a vehicle, the game eventually makes them leave the vehicle. Dead Driver completely changes what happens in this situation.
When the driver dies, they remain behind the wheel, slumped over the steering wheel instead of getting out of the vehicle.
But the vehicle does not simply stop there.
The dead driver’s body continues interacting with the controls. Their head repeatedly presses the horn, while the accelerator and steering remain engaged. As a result, the vehicle can continue driving on its own, turning, crashing, or moving through traffic even though the driver is already dead.
The goal is to create a more believable and dynamic reaction to a dead driver, inspired by the way similar situations are handled in GTA IV and GTA V.
Dead Driver focuses on changing this specific vanilla behavior and making it feel like a natural part of the game rather than simply removing the original behavior.
