About This Title

Used what I did with Astrid as a backbone and adapted to Aniya. Kenerad is currently reviewing it. Not bad.... almost 22 hours to do it all. Mostly brainstorming while dashing.

So many complex relationship followers out there

Her dialogue is deflecting.... 40 Year Old Virgin has nothing on 5000 Year Old Vampire Bachelorette.

Thankfully Serana is ancient so referring to dragons from first era was easy to do regarding the watch tower dragon fight requirement.

Kerstyn and I like the Loverbat nickname as well. It doubles for Loverboy and Lovergirl.

Kerstyn wants to use it in her Amorous Adventures edit :)

Will probably make a mod page called "Serana Revamped - Serana Teaches Romance Badly - Follower Dating Advice"

M'rissi definitely needs one >.>

just think of what I will be doing with "Sinister Seduction - Volkihar Courtship Diabologue Add-On" Who wouldn't want to we Harkon, Valerica and/or Serana?

Here we go :)

Main Topic

Player: Serana, can I ask you something private?

Serana: That depends. If it’s about why I stare at your neck while you sleep, let's pretend you never noticed. But if this is about that sweetroll-obsessed girl you ran into at the Bannered Mare, please… spare me the suspense.

0. The Introduction & The Nickname

Player: How did you…

Serana: How did I know? Darling, your pulse has been hammering like a frightened rabbit’s ever since you two crossed paths by the tavern fire. It’s loud, it’s distracting, and frankly, it sounds delicious. But what on Nirn do you see in Aniya? That girl has sugar running through her veins instead of blood. A stiff breeze from High Hrothgar would blow her straight into Solstheim.

Player: She's charming. And she just really loves pastries.

Serana: "Loves pastries"? She’s a sweetroll fiend. I’ve seen blood-starved feral vampires show more restraint than that girl around an open pantry. And you? You're completely helpless.

Player: I'm just trying to figure out how to approach her. What do we even call this? Dating tips? Battle training?

Serana: "Dating tips"? Boring. "Battle training"? Far too dignified for whatever disaster you're cooking up. I mean look at you. Blind as a newborn cave bat, screeching into the void hoping for an echo, completely unable to navigate basic conversation without crashing face-first into stone.

Player: I can navigate a conversation just fine.

Serana: Is that what you call it? When we're clearing a ruin, you're a ruthless killing machine. When you try to talk to a woman, you look like a moth having a stroke near a candle. Three days ago you stumbled right into an ancient Nordic tripwire in broad daylight and blamed the draugr for bad interior decorating. You have zero social radar, Loverbat, let’s not pretend you have a compass.

Player: Don't call me that.

Serana: Not a chance in Coldharbour, Loverbat. That humiliating title is yours forever. From now on, every time you draw your sword, I'm going to whisper encouragement to my fierce, lovesick little Ysgramor. Truly, the Five Hundred Companions would weep tears of pride watching their mighty conqueror bribe an addict with pastries. Now hush and listen. If you want her to look at you with romantic longing instead of eyeing your pockets for baked goods, you need to earn your way into her heart. You can’t just stand there staring like a gargoyle.

SERANA'S LESSON PLAN FOR ANIYA

1. Sweetrolls & Compliments

Player: Fine. What's the first lesson, Princess?

Serana: Feed the addiction, obviously. But don't dump a sack of six sweetrolls in her lap all at once like a desperate dog begging for attention. Space them out. Give her one every couple of hours. Let the anticipation build.

Player: Just feed her pastries?

Serana: Don’t strain your tiny bat-brain, Loverbat; flattery matters, too. Offer her genuine compliments. Not three stammered lines blurted out in five seconds. Give her one a day and let it simmer. Show her you have manners, even if we both know you're making it up as you go.

2. Relics & Heroics

Player: What about quests? Does a girl like her care about heroics?

Serana: Even a girl who lives on sugar appreciates someone who knows how to swing steel. Hypothetically speaking, of course.

Player: What kind of heroics are we talking about?

Serana: Say you delve into some ancient crypt and retrieve a shiny dragon claw from the dust. Or imagine a city gets attacked by something massive... like a dragon, and you step in to save the day. Back in the First Era, that sort of theatrical bravado was wildly popular.

Player: Does that really work?

Serana: Nothing is more fantastic than standing there as the beast drops dead and you're soaked in ash and glory. That is when you go talk to a girl like her. There is nothing mortals swoon over faster than watching you roar at the sky, dragon-boy.

Player: And if I’ve already done all that?

Serana: Then why are you standing here staring at me, Loverbat? Go cash in on your legendary status before she thinks you just got lucky.

3. The Shady Nord & Mikael

Player: What if someone gives her trouble?

Serana: Then you grow a spine and earn your keep. If you're down by the Ratway in Riften and some sleazy Nord tries to toss coin at her for "services," do not stand there like a wooden post. Step in and defend her honor.

Player: And in Whiterun?

Serana: That oily bard Mikael right there at the Bannered Mare. Head back in the evening, between dinner and nightfall. When he starts rehearsing his tavern charm on her, put him in his place. Remind him what happens when a lute-strummer forgets who he's singing to.

4. The Confession & Setting Up Home

Player: How will I know when she’s ready?

Serana: She will confess it straight to your face, Loverbat. Try not to faint from sheer shock when she does. Once you accept her feelings, the real courtship begins. Set up a proper home with her, check in on how your bond is growing, and take her out on actual dates. Don't get lazy! Repeat those dates and keep taking care of her.

5. The Proposal & Marriage

Player: And when things get serious?

Serana: When you’ve proven you’re dependable partners and you've taken her on enough dates, the moment will arrive. A third date, somewhere special. I won’t spoil the exact words for you. Ruining the surprise would take all the fun out of watching you sweat through your armor. Just speak from the heart, put on an Amulet of Mara, and see if she says yes.

6. The Bakery Dream

Player: She always dreamed of opening her own bakery someday.

Serana: Then turn her addiction into an empire, pet. Once you're wed and you've set up a hearth with an oven or a proper cooking pot, wait a week. Let the wedding dust settle. Then talk to her about opening shop. Just remember: every time you drag her out into the wilderness to fight bandits, the ovens go cold. If you send her back home, remind her to fire them back up.

8. Teasing Serana

Player: You know, you're enjoying my misery way too much.

Serana: Can you blame me? Watching Tamriel's legendary champion reduced to an anxious sugar dealer is pure theater. In fact, if you drop a sweetroll on your boots, I might not even reanimate your dignity, It would only ruin the comedic timing. Now, what other doomed thought is bouncing around inside that hollow skull of yours?

Player: Did anyone ever court you like this?

Serana: Please. Mortals look at centuries-old pureblood royalty and generally prefer to keep their blood inside their veins. The ones who did try usually brought dark pacts, ancient bloodlines, or dowries of silver and land. Nobody ever brought me pretty mountain flowers or bribed me with pastries. Which is probably why they all died boring, violent deaths. But nice try attempting to deflect, Loverbat. Your disastrous love life is still on trial.

Player: If she actually says yes... will you come to the wedding?

Serana: Miss the chance to see my sweet little Loverbat sweating through their boots while holding hands with Skyrim's biggest pastry hoarder? I wouldn’t miss it for all the blood in Tamriel. I've already written my speech: "To the bride! May she never find out that her gallant dragon-slayer won her heart by crying to an ancient vampire for basic dating instructions."

Player: Serana, please, don't you dare!

Serana: Oh, I dare, Loverbat. Now flap along and go buy out Hulda's pastry stock before someone with actual game shows up with a cinnamon loaf.
