About This Title
Hello, and welcome to another weekly update! I hope you all had a great weekend. I spent mine working and little else, although my mother came for a visit (something incredibly rare) so I had lunch with her on Sunday. I'm making really good progress with Of Blood & Clay! It will definitely be done for you guys this month (sans art, which, by the way, it's being done by José Antonio Ávila, the Ker Nethalas artist).
Other than that, last week I've been mostly working on Of Blood & Clay, but also fixing tons of details for Broken Shores, and setting up the Kickstarter. I think it's going to do well because it already has a nice number of followers, but I'd ask you to share it as much as possible, I really need this to be a hit! I was struggling to get the ball rolling with the GamesQuest rep, since I imagine they are swamped (it's KS season, after all), but I think they are now on top of things and I should get all the info I need from them in order to set up all the shipping section of the campaign. It's truly a lot of work!
Once all this mess is done, I'll be able to get back to The Book of Horrors and Across a Thousand Hollow Vaults. I really must finish the next Machine Gods expansion before the year is over, though, since it's something that I promised to the backers. It's a big project, so it's daunting! I'm excited to jump back into it, though, it's a fun setting.
In other news, Across a Thousand Dead Worlds is going to be published in Korean! I'm really excited about it, I don't think the market is large but it's really cool to have one of my games published there. Let's hope it works out!
If you're curious about my dog, she's doing fine, all things considered. She's started with the chemotherapy to slow the growth of the tumor, and it looks like next month I will have to travel to that other town for her radiotherapy... Let's really hope all this time, effort, money, and suffering are worth it.
So that's it for this week, I'm just incredibly busy, trying to get all these things done before the month is over. This is certainly being my busiest month of the year...
Have a great week!
