This is straight up a teaser of our INTL BEST/WORST report on INTL Tier, but yikes lots of bad over there for a peak month like June.
Of the non-IROPS/Charter group, jeez how is Greenland coming back for United with 1/3rd of seats filled with non-employees? Recently one of the blogs posted that their plane was half non-revenue employees. How do they find a place to sleep in notoriously room-short Greenland? They don’t. They hang at a bar until the flight leaves again and pray to see the Northern Lights.
Lots of routes that have been axed showing why and Mexican leisure is definitely still weak. Tulum (TQO) shows why it’s in reverse.
Los Angeles (LAX) - Sydney (SYD) on United not even 2/3rds full. Ouch
Some of JetBlue’s new Ft Lauderdale (FLL) routes not doing great so far.
Volaris struggling to fill new Queretaro (QRO) routes
New AeroMexico routes to Mexico City NLU hilariously poor, no surprise
Aer Lingus to Pittsburgh (PIT) not looking great
Nashville (BNA) to Reykjavik (KEF) on Icelandair, YOUCH!
