I guess many of you have seen the effects of DLSS these days; it is a revolutionary technology for the game industry. It improves very quickly, and it may keep evolving every day thanks to the community. As far as I know, there are several ways you can turn DLSS 5 on for your game, and I can share my own experience based on OptiScaler-NR-v0.8.4.
It supports Nvidia GPU 50s by default and is also available for Nvidia GPU 40s (may not be as good as 50s).
AMD can open DLSS5, but the cost might be unaffordable.
Let's get to the point right now!
Total War: Warhammer III
Step 1: Download OptiScaler-NR-v0.8.4 for Total War: Warhammer 3
https://mega.nz/file/LzgUGRDZ#Rm7a6xuplBOgw86vJKgdYsTtHfHR25ItwxiLnNhR1tw
(No PIN, you may have to copy and paste the full link to the browser)
Or download it from my attachment. Unzip and open the Warhammer3DLSS5 folder.
Drop everything into your Warhammer 3 game data
...\steamapps\common\Total War WARHAMMER III\data
Step 2: Click setup_windows to install DLSS 5 for the game.
Choose dxgi.dll in the first option. Choose Yes if it asks you to overwrite "dxgi.dll". Then, choose your GPU: AMD or Nvidia.
Step 3: Launch the game and make sure you have turn TAA/ TAA High (Anti-aliasing) on in the graphics settings.
Step 4: Enter the game battle map, then press Insert to open the DLSS 5 Menu.
On the top left, choose DLSS W/Dx12, and click Change Upscaler; on the right side, turn on DLSS Neural Rendering.
The basic DLSS 5 effect should appear! Not as amazing as you expected? Don't worry, because the default setting for DLSS 5 is a bit thin. Let's make it thicker!
Click the NR model! You can choose its style between Standard/Natural/Cinematic.
Use the sliders below to adjust its strength.
You can set Model passes to 2, which will increase the cost, but I don't quite recommend it, as it feels like an unnecessary addition in most cases.
I hope it will work for you! If not... well, ask AI and show it a screenshot of your problem; that may help. Enjoy~
