Before becoming a member of the Elite Four, Clover was a kindergarten teacher and the Plant-type Gym Leader at the school and Gym run by her older sister, Liby. The children absolutely loved her.
Because of her great beauty and her rather light clothing, Clover also caught the attention of many of the children's fathers, which caused quite a few marital problems.
After joining the Elite Four, Clover was hired by the Green Future Foundation to lead its Children's Campaign Division.
Clover may look like a woman whose head is always in the clouds and whose mind is somewhere in another world, but she is much more than she seems. Many people believe she could be a serious threat to anyone who dares to challenge the Green Future Foundation—or threaten the children she loves so much.
