Alright, I've got quite a few for you this week. October is always a big month for us, as we like to shell out as many videos as we can for Halloween. The studio will be taking a longer-than-usual break at the end of the month, spanning from the last week of October into the first week of November (as multiple staff members need extra time off). SO... the pressure is on to knock these out as efficiently as possible.
Honestly, I'm not going to complain about taking an extra week off, as I need it after working on all these releases amidst a move and attempting to sell our old place. And those of you who have been with us for a while know how absolutely horrible I am at taking time. I'm sure I'll use those 2 weeks to get ahead on work, anyway.
So, here we are!
This is actually a VRAR that I thought would fit the October vibe quite well, considering it's Maria from Silent Hill. Volkor took lead on this, with Kaeg helping on setup.
Hasshaku-Sama makes a special appearance this year for Halloween, courtesy of Lazy Procrastinator's dedication and passion. I'll have quite a few video of her, and if all goes well a compilation for our supporters.
Another one of Lazy Procrastinator's art pieces, starring Daemon Girl Sinia. For those of you unfamiliar with her, this is a creation of the very talented Ryan Reos. I should have 2 or 3 of her, so maybe a compilation as well?
And last but not least, Rachel from Cyberpunk 2077. This was animated by Mendez, and looks quite beautiful. I've spent the past couple of months with the staff getting things all lined up for Halloween/October, and this will be releasing next week if all goes well. I'm sure it wouldn't hurt to release this in October, but I prefer to keep October as Halloween themed as possible.
On to this week's releases!
This is an alternate of the original which just released, without the wings and messed up background. I thought about just deleting the old post, but honestly it just felt like it would be more efficient to just do a new release since I had to re-render everything. One of my pet peeves is inefficient use of time, so when the mistakes in the prior video were pointed out to me, I was pretty upset. Especially given how busy I've been. I couldn't allow such a grievous mistake to go unfixed, so here we are.
This is basically the same release as last time, but now with proper interpolation. I can't stand 30fps in VR, so this had to be done. It was just a matter of waiting for other renders to finish.
And last but not least, a VRAR. I'm very excited to see Maiev in VR. Mendez took the lead on this, with setup by Kaeg and myself, like usual.
That's it for this week. But I'll have plenty more for you all next week as we plug away at getting content knocked out for October and beyond.
