The Story: The brilliant mind of Vegapunk is divided, but ambition can corrupt even the smartest of satellites. York has finally made her move. With the Gorosei closing in on Egghead Island, she needs a foolproof bargaining chip to secure her ultimate dream of becoming a Celestial Dragon. Her solution? Selling out her own kind.
Lilith wakes up disoriented, only to find herself sealed inside a high-tech, transparent stasis pod. Panic sets in as she realizes she is completely immobilized. Worse yet, an experimental, heavy-duty gag-tape tightly seals her lips, reducing her usually fiery protests to muffled, helpless sounds ("BBBLLL..."). Standing safely outside the glass, York gloats over her trapped sister. She flaunts her genius invention and casually reveals her dark plan: Lilith is no longer a brilliant scientist; she is merely a "gift" wrapped and ready for the World Government.
Despite Lilith's furious glaring and desperate struggles against the restraints, there is no escape. The deal is struck, and the captive cargo is shipped.
Fast forward three grueling days. The bright, futuristic lab of Egghead is gone, replaced by the cold, damp stone of the world's most notorious and inescapable prison. Stripped of her high-tech gear and forced into a humiliating striped prisoner uniform, Lilith is now weighed down by heavy iron chains and a thick metal collar around her neck.
As she angrily demands to know why she was brought here, her new warden steps out of the shadows. The sadistic Sadi-chan smiles, brandishing her whip. In Impel Down, "traitors" to the World Government are not just locked away—they are broken. And Sadi-chan is more than eager to begin the painful "correction" process...
