About This Title
Did you ever have an expectation of doing something, thinking it would be somewhat hard, but you thought your past skills would be enough to do even something simple? Yeah, I thought the same about animation, and it was a bucket of cold water. Don't get me wrong, this is not a white flag of defeat; I will do more studies around animation. After next week spice slections of studies, I will start to have at least ONE animation study per WEEK, simple at the beggining but I PROMISE in a year that I will be animating at least a 10 second clip of characther fighting or having a really good time. But now for my miserable notes: THERES a lot of topics that I need to get better, mainly: Spacing, timing and consistency. This 3 topics seems to be the most begginners topics for now, I will be studiying them using ball studies and pendulums. Why this 3 ? They are simple fundamentals for the rest of the animation process, Spacing is basically how you space out the movement and how close or far they are ( on the ball bouncing study it shows how making the ball clos together on the hightest point makes a the impact more). Timing is obivius its the ''WHEN" of your frames, where your sort out everthing in place to make it most impactful (for example when the ball falls I don't need to animate a bunch of frames; I can put 3 frames that sell the effect) and for the last topic is consistency, this one comes with only practice, for you to draw somehting well you will need to draw over and over againI will go more in-depth on this studies in the future but theres a little problem a pay wall :/ I didn't know that clip studio PRO don't allow more the 24 frames, so that really limiting my studies, I will sign up for the EX version tomorrow after I bay the final bill for this month.
