Update: New Render Scaling Menu and XeSS Support

This update brings a new Render Scaling menu, support for DLSS, FSR, and XeSS, and fixes for the issues affecting FSR upscaling.

FSR fixes

FSR quality modes now apply correctly instead of falling back to TSR. I’ve also corrected an issue that could cause DLSS quality selections to switch to DLAA.

A dedicated Render Scaling menu

Upscaling and frame generation now have their own section in the settings. Choose your preferred technology and quality mode from options available on your system.

Changes are saved automatically. When switching frame generation providers requires a restart, the menu keeps your new selection visible and shows which option is currently active.

DLSS, FSR, and XeSS

The menu brings together upscaling and frame generation options for NVIDIA DLSS, AMD FSR, and Intel XeSS. Available modes depend on your hardware and system configuration.

You can select upscaling and frame generation separately—for example, pairing DLSS upscaling with FSR frame generation where supported.

Open Settings → Render Scaling to explore the new options and find the balance of image quality and performance that works best for you.

Other things in this update:

Added ground fog to character selection screen

Fixed elven ears parameter not being saved.
