Our new Friday watercolor lesson is here!
This time, we’re painting a peaceful Autumn River surrounded by glowing golden trees and deep forest greens.
In this step-by-step lesson, we’ll explore how to create a rich autumn atmosphere while keeping the landscape light and expressive. We’ll work with soft watercolor transitions in the foliage, build depth through different shades of green, and paint reflections on the water. We’ll also add fine liner and white details to bring more texture, contrast, and character to the finished sketch.
It’s a beautiful project for practicing loose landscape painting, layering colors, creating depth, and combining watercolor with expressive details
