The time has come for the big one... and it is a BIG one.

The script has been written, every page has been storyboarded, and it now has an official title. Please, if you have time, read everything - I go into what you can expect from the story, my motivations for it, and my immediate plans.

But first, the title.

Synopsis: Months have passed since the mission to stop meteorfall, but some promises still remain unfulfilled... Cloud and Tifa finally get their night out - just the two of them.

I don't need to say it, but this is going to be the biggest project I've ever done by over double (Tangents A+B Side was 56 Pages).

I am not planning variants for this one, but that doesn't mean I won't do them if I feel like I'm making good time on everything when I get to the NSFW part of the story.

Speaking of, I'd like to set some expectations right off the hop - this story is not going to be 120 pages of smut.

Unlike a lot of my stuff so far that has generally been a very lewd scene with a bit of padding wrapped around it to give it some context, this is an attempt at an actual, properly paced story that eventually crescendos into an NSFW scene in a way that I hope feels like a pay-off.

In short, I'm writing this to be their happily ever after.

If you read my previous plan for this comic way back in the Samara post, you'll also notice that it's not the same concept. I didn't want this to be a story that takes place at anyones expense, and I felt like if I made it a "Tifa is jealous" story that it would just cheapen it, so I scrapped what I had in mind and started over with making this a story that is purely about Cloud and Tifa.

This is going to be a sweet, heartfelt love story. There is no cruel twist, No tricks or undermining. It's not a dream, and it's not another timeline. If you wanted me to write a CloTi story, I've tried to write the ultimate CloTi story - This is my take on Cloud and Tifa's endgame. This is a love letter not just to these characters and world that I genuinely love and have come to mean so much to me, but to all the people who've wanted to see these two actually, properly fall in love (and, yes, do the nasty) for 30 years.

THERE WILL BE SPICE. The difference is, unlike some of my past stuff, it will not be lurid or just graphic for graphics sake. There will still be a typical amount of variety for the NSFW scenes as well, so you shouldn't end up feeling like you're getting less of that from this story, rather you're getting a LOT more of the actual substance and hopefully those scenes carry a different weight to them.

Lastly, and I know I'm asking a LOT considering my output recently... Please be patient with me for a little while longer. I have never once asked this, but if you can - especially if you're looking forward to this - please try to hold onto your subs while I work on this. This is far from a woe is me because I completely understand anyone who's felt like I haven't been putting out enough stuff and bailed, I don't blame you. But it's been a real steep slide the last few months, and I'm just one person doing this. I can only pose one shot a time and render one shot at a time, and my PC isn't top of the line, which is why even when I'm going to be putting my all into this it might still feel a bit sparse in the meantime. Projects like this take time to make, and it really means a lot to me to feel like I've got you guys at my back.

I know a bunch of you are probably rolling your eyes and not here for what I've outlined. You might wish I was doing a Barret comic (I will again, eventually), or feature another girl, or another series, or a Don Corneo thing (Which, by the way, to anyone who has asked the answer is unequivocally no, I will never do a Don Corneo story of any kind, that guy's fucking gross and there's nothing appealing to me about that request whatsoever. You'll need to find someone else willing to make that for you.).

But I hope you stick around for this because I'm putting my whole Gussy into it.

(...Sorry. It's 4am, I've been working on the script since 9am and typing non-stop and I'm loopy.)

I'm going to do my best to stay on top of posting blog updates like this. The next thing I do for this will probably be building a new 7th Heaven set and picking outfits for everyone and then it's off to the races.

Before that, my plan is to try and make something unrelated over the next couple of days (I'm not sure what or who of yet) just to get something new out for you guys, and then come Tuesday I'll be going AFK for a couple of days to play Ace Combat 8 - I know I should have better priorities after everything I just said, but I've been a fan of Ace Combat since 2004 and I've been waiting literally years for this. Once I'm back from that, it's full-beans on Operation: SUNSHINE.
