I been updating the older scenes and making the video guides for the VA's whilst waiting for the new dubs to arrive (specifically the Hu Tao dub for WiP 8d). But since the VA's seems to be busy with irl stuff for some time now, I'm kind of a bit in a pickle...
I could show off the polished older scenes, but that would be too repetitive and same-y. And unless it's fully Polished, Dubbed, and SFX'ed, It's simply not gonna be good nuff for a WiP post.
Which means that I'm basically at the mercy of the VA's schedule rn XD
So with 10 days left before the end of this month and seemingly no new dubs in sight, I decided that instead of taking the big L and just leaving a dry and boring Billing Paused post, I decided that I might as well do one of the things that I was gonna do during my hiatus in advance!.. That being, trying out the newer blender version and make some upgrades to my rig!.. Aaand also do Varesa coz she's been carrying my Xiangling since Natlan and daym is this cow sizzling XD
And with a lot of help from the book The Animator's Survival Toolkit, I animated my first walk cycle! I still cant fully say that I completely grasped the mechanics of a walk 100%, far from it. A humble walk is ironically one of the hardest things to animate and im gonna need LOTS more experiments like this to master it. Buuut I at least got the gist of it :3
Hopefully next month, the Hu Tao voice-overs comes so that I can show that off asap! But in the case that still doesn't happen then imma just pause once more and make more of this silly one shots to keep things interesting for you Chads. I might also have to recast HT at that point, which would REALLY suck since they've alr proven to be a very capable voice actress :/
On a brighter note! Peak SucMine art!
I commissioned this one a while back after seeing the artist's super cute artstyle! But unfortunately Ranruns had to lock-in on completing her thesis and had to take a break from her art commissions. But now that she's managed to pass through that academic hell hole, she finally had time to continue working and re-accepting comms!
Just look at Suc's round pinchable cheeks ♡(๑ᵔ⤙ᵔ๑)ԅ(≖⌣≖ԅ)If you also want to comm some more Sucmine, or maybe even HuLing art! (or any other character for that matter XD). Then you can head over to Ranrun's vgen page and give her a holler! https://vgen.co/ranruns
Oh! And she also accepts spicier, more suggestive kinds of commissions! ;3Just not fully nsfw :p
And yeah! That's about it! Hope you liked it you absolute Chad :3
