digitalfoundry - Coming This Week to Digital Foundry (Week 39 2026)
infoAbout This Title
First of all, apologies for the lateness of the post. You'll see why very soon! Secondly, apologies for the non-functional downloads at digitalfoundry.net - we'll get that sorted as soon as we can. So, what's going on this week?
Well, there's a LOT going on, so let's get straight to it.
Rich (ie me) is working on embargoed #content. It's following the press trip I did last week and I'm really looking forward to sharing that. Beyond that, I promise to reboot the BC-250 project - though seriously... buy a used PS5 on a sub-14.0 firmware. Linux will be along in due course and stuff like the Bloodborne patches we discussed a while back should be available. I've prepared: I managed to get a PS5 Pro used on Facebook Marketplace for £600...
John is back from Japan! And he's working on his Ace Combat 8 review! More from John soon. Delighted he has returned!
Oliver is working on our Gears of War: E-Day video, which should be pretty special and he's also helping me out on the embargoed #content I'm working on now. Beyond that, he's very interested in Star Wars Galactic Racer - as are we all really. We hope to have our review there up by launch or just before it.
Tom is knee deep in The Switcher 3 Remastered. As the Switch 2 version arrived first, we'll be focusing on that first as a standalone video, then he'll move onto the current gen consoles.
Rayan is working on optimised settings and review coverage for the PC version of The Witcher 3 Remastered.
Will is once again at the conn for our website #content and he's got a lot on his hands!
Also this week, John isn't involved but I'm assured that the DF Retro Super Show will return on Sunday.
As usual, please understand if our reviews may be a little late. We're still short-staffed, DF Direct takes a fair amount of time to properly research and put together, and we're never guaranteed review code. So bear with us please until things calm down a bit.
That's all for now. Thanks again for all of your support!
