Ayla-Jay Art Photography - Actual Patronage and Shoot Funding
About This Title
I'm opening something new here, and I want to explain it properly rather than just drop it on you.
Everything you already get from me — the daily galleries, Mystic Monday, the Vault, all of it — that's not changing. This is something extra, sitting alongside it: a way for the people who want to be even more involved to actually fund specific pieces of work directly. Not a bigger subscription. Patronage, properly — the old-fashioned kind, where someone makes a piece of work happen because you backed it.
There are two ways to get involved:
Studio Patron — an ongoing membership. Get named credit in everything I make that month, first word on new editions before anyone else hears, and a private gallery of that month's exclusive material
Fund a Shoot — a one-off purchase, available any time in my Shop, no membership required. Edition Patron funds a full studio shoot; Location Patron funds a full location shoot. Either way, your purchase alone makes it happen — it becomes a real, numbered, limited hardback, only ten copies ever printed. You get your own copy — numbered #1, since it's your shoot — with your name printed inside, plus a personal link to a private gallery of unseen images and video from that exact shoot. The remaining nine are offered separately to collectors
Full details and pricing live on my Patreon here right now.. Studio Patron has a 12-months-for-the-price-of-11 annual option; the shoot-funding purchases are one-time only, and you're welcome to fund another shoot whenever you like.
This isn't replacing anything, and it isn't for everyone — it's for the people who've told me they want to be more a part of this than a monthly subscription really allows. If that's you, I'd love to have you onboard. One honest note: funding a shoot means you helped make it happen and you'll always have your own numbered copy of what came from it — it doesn't mean you own the images themselves, which stay mine.
And for the rare few who want to go even further, there' ar be bigger ways to fund a shoot — trips further afield, on my website. More on that soon.
Thank you, as always, for being here.
With love, Ayla-Jay
