Bruhz69 - Progress Update part 2
infoAbout This Title
Unfortunately the update is still not finished. I have a vision for this update and I don't really want to comprimise. Essentially, I want the sandbox to feel complete with characters to talk to and interact with from the start. I don't want a wasteland with one scene to pick. Of course you guys already saw a very raw attempt at the sandbox, but it has definitely changed a lot since then. This update is already at about 800 assets including images and videos and I expect it to reach over 1000 (those 800 are already coded in and have dialogue so don't worry we aren't that far off). I know it's been taking a while but honestly the hardest part has been making the world/story and putting into the sandbox. Making systems like the willpower check and then writing them into the story as well as writing things so that certain scenes aren't forced onto the player is really time consuming. For some scenes I'm basically making two entriely different options for one event. And then I have to find a way to make the continuity work for both options without having to make massively different story paths or get tangled in a web of very specific player choices. Maybe my scope is a bit too wide, but I'm trying to make this as palatable as possible with as much agency as possible for players. At the end of the day it's porn so maybe I'm wasting my time but whatever. I know it's taken a lot of time and there will be quite a few scenes, but I don't want to over promise anything. A lot of the time has gone into the framework for the game, not just the fun stuff you get to watch. Regardless, I appreciate you guys for sticking around and believing in me. I hope I can meet your expectations, but I want to hear your brutally honest opinions regardless... whenever this comes out. I'll be very surprised if it's not before the end of this month, actually. At this point I'm just making scenes so I think I can get it done pretty quickly.
